About the Role
We are currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a school project in Northampton, with a minimum of 5 months' work available.
The work will involve carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation works within a school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for Electricians looking for consistent, long-term work with a competitive night rate.
Reliability, good workmanship and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out 1st fix electrical installation work
- Completing 2nd fix electrical installation work
- Installing electrical wiring, containment and associated equipment
- Working from electrical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Working effectively alongside other trades on site
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant installation experience
- ECS/JIB Gold Card required
- Previous experience carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical work
- Enhanced DBS preferred - if not, must be willing to do it
- Candidates without an Enhanced DBS must be willing to obtain one, as the project is based at a school
- Reliable, hardworking and able to commit to night shifts
- Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements
