The Role

As an EICR Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspection and testing across a range of residential and public sector properties.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) to a high standard
• Identify and rectify C1 and C2 defects where required
• Carry out installations and issue Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) when required
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations, including the 18th Edition
• Produce accurate and comprehensive reports
• Manage your own workload and appointments effectively
• Work independently while contributing to the wider team
• Travel to various sites, with journeys of up to approximately one hour when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• A recognised Inspection & Testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, 2391-52 or an equivalent EAL qualification
• Previous experience working within social housing or a similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection and reporting
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
