About the role

We are looking for an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Technical Services team. You will deliver high‑quality planned and reactive maintenance services across client sites, ensuring electrical and building services systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair works across electrical systems and building services
- Perform fault‑finding, diagnosis and repair of distribution boards, motors, pumps, building management systems, emergency lighting and general electrical plant
- Support mechanical maintenance tasks such as HVAC systems, pumps, valves, air handling units, basic plumbing and basic fabric works
- Be included in the on-call rota
- Complete all work in full compliance with BS 7671, Mitie technical standards and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate job progress and documentation
- Perform electrical fault-finding to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
- 18th edition
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience of fault finding and maintenance experience within a similar facilities management, building services, industrial or contracting environment is essential
- Experience in the nuclear industry would be beneficial
- Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance
