We help keep thousands of commercial and industrial buildings safe, compliant and operational. Whether it's a hospital, distribution centre, university, office block or retail premises, our engineers play a vital role in making sure electrical installations are safe and fit for purpose.

Thanks to continued growth, strong customer demand and ongoing contract wins, we're looking to add experienced Hybrid Testing & Remedial Electricians to our team.

This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys both the investigative side of electrical testing and the practical satisfaction of putting things right.

  • Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Identifying faults, non-compliances and potential risks, then producing high-quality reports that provide clear recommendations

  • Producing Minor Works Certificates, Remedial Completion Reports and associated compliance documentation
  • Carrying out additional specialist inspections and testing, including emergency lighting, RCD testing, thermographic surveys and distribution board maintenance
  • Working directly with customers on-site, providing a professional service while representing PTSG to the highest standard
  • Using modern testing equipment and reporting software to deliver accurate, efficient results
  • Staying up to date with industry regulations, standards and best practice

What we expect from you

  • Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3, AM2 or equivalent qualifications
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (or equivalent inspection and testing qualifications)
  • Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • Experience carrying out electrical installation work within commercial environments
  • Fixed wire testing experience would be highly advantageous
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job properly first time
  • Someone who can work independently while still being a great team player

What's in it for you

  • Competitive salary with opportunities to increase earnings through additional work and bonus opportunities
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Pension, life assurance and virtual GP access
  • Vivup employee benefits platform, with discounts on shopping, travel, technology, fitness and more
  • Ongoing training and development to support your career progression
  • Access to the latest testing equipment and technology
  • Long-term job security with a growing market-leading business
  • A supportive culture where your expertise is valued and recognised
